About Us

Assalamu alaykum,

Anhaar didn't start with a product. It started with a question — and it wasn't about comfort.

When we first showed an ergonomic prayer mat to a family member, she didn't ask if the foam was soft. She asked: "Is it even allowed?"

She'd prayed five times a day for decades — through aging knees and pain she never once complained about. She would rather hurt than risk a single sujood being invalid.

Most brands never answer that question. They bury it in an FAQ and lead with foam thickness instead.

So we did the homework first. We studied the rulings. The issue was never foam itself — it's foam under the forehead. If the surface is firm and settles when you prostrate, the prayer is sound.

Then we searched for a mat built around that standard: deep cushioning where your knees land, and a thin, firm surface where your forehead touches. Most mats compete on how much foam they pack in. We chose ours for where the foam was left out.

That mat became the Sakina Mat — the one we'd hand to our own mother without hesitation.

Our Mission:

Help Muslims pray with full presence — no knee pain pulling your mind from your salah, and no doubt in your heart about whether your sujood counts. Comfort for the body. Sakina for the soul.

Because no one should have to choose between praying without pain and praying with certainty.

From our family to yours,
The Anhaar Team
